Ducati India dealer selling demo, display bikes at huge discount

Discounts of up to Rs 2 lakhs are on offer.

When it comes to buying a bike, who doesn’t fancy a good deal. Ducati – VST Chennai dealership offers just that at the moment. The company proposes a win-win situation having announced the sale of its demo bikes. The best part is, they haven’t been ridden for too many kms.

The 2017 Monster 797 model on offer shaves off Rs 80k from the price tag of a new bike, which is listed at a price of Rs 9.6 lakhs. It’s got 3,500 kms on the odo.

The 2017 Multistrada 950 is available at a discount of 1.5 lakhs on a 15.1 lakh price tag. With the new Diavel available for 18.9l, the showroom has a sweeter deal at a discount of 1.6L. The new Diavel also has a more lucrative deal available owing to a promo offer that entails a discount of upto Rs 2 lakhs.

For those looking at the offers, being sceptic is only natural. The important question here would be whether one should consider buying a demo bike. For one, it’s a dealer demo bike, and has been under the watchful eye of dealer staff at all times, and not a company bike that’s gone around the countryside for demo purposes.

For those concerned with warranty, for the demo bikes on offer, these will be the first registered owner for all bikes. As such, the service date / warranty begins from handover and not over the duration of time the bike has been at the dealership.

This is because demo bikes aren’t yet titled, so, warranty comes into effect when the title is transferred to a buyer. Furthermore, there’s the dealership guarantee of buying demo bikes. If demo bikes seem the deal to go for, this would be the right time to take a look.
