Ducati Monster 821 sales celebration offer – Get free Termignoni Exhaust, DQS

In less than a year, sales of Ducati Monster 821 has crossed the 100 units mark. And in doing so, it has become the fastest selling sportsbike in the country. To celebrate the same with Ducati fans in India, the company is now offering free gifts to buyers of Monster.

Monster 821 would be fitted with Termignoni Exhaust and DQS Up/Down as complementary accessories while Monster 797+ would also be fitted with the Termignoni Exhaust. The exclusive offer is valid from 1st April – 30th April 2019 across all Ducati dealerships in India.

Speaking about global sales, Italian bike maker, Ducati Motor Holding has reported a 5 percent drop in sales in 2018. The company sold 53,004 units during the past year. This was as compared to sales of 55,871 units in 2017. Though sales were down in the past year, the company still managed to cross the 50,000 unit mark. This marks the fourth year in succession that the company has stayed above this target.

Free exhaust offer.

The Italian company first hit the 50,000 unit mark in 2015 and has not gone below that mark since. 2018 marking the 4th year of over 50,000 unit sales. It was due to the Panigale series that the company noted achieved this figure.

Panigale sales were at 9,700 units in 2018, a 70 percent increase over sales of 6,100 units in the previous year. Sales in Italy showed 4.5 percent increase while sales in Spain also reached 2,444 units up 8 percent and sales in Japan increased 2 percent to 1,941 units. Likewise, sales in Switzerland also increased 2.2 percent with 1276 units sold while deliveries in the US markets stood at a total of 7,843 units, a drop of 9 percent.

Another Ducati model that scored high on the sales charts was the Multistrada range. A total of 11,829 units of Multistrada bikes were sold in 2018 with the Multistrada 1260 reaching 6,569 unit sales, an increase of 25 percent over sales in 2017.

Future plans of the company for the 2019 period include a complete revamp of the Scrambler series. The company also plans launch of the Daivel 1260 and the Hypermotard 950 to reinforce its position in the high end superbike market.

The Multistrada family also saw the 1260 Enduro and 950S added to its lineup while the V4R entered as the most powerful superbike with the best of technology every built by Ducati. It is with these 9 new models that the company looks ahead to a very successful 2019.
