Ducati Museum Google Maps virtual tour: Ducatisti rejoice

Ducati Museum attracts about 40,000 fans and visitors from around the world every year, and this number will be increased manifold as the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has opens its doors to a virtual tour with Google Maps.

The virtual tour entails a tour of the Ducati Museum shop. Ducati Museum is spread over an area of 850 square metres and showcases a display of over 40 motorcycles fundamentally important to the racing heritage of Ducati.

The exhibition surrounds a giant red helmet with motorcycles displayed on an illuminated track and seven additional thematic rooms. Recognised in 2012 by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Regional Activities as a site of significant cultural value, Ducati Museum will be busy as Ducatisti arrive during World Ducati Week 2014. The rally held every two years for Ducati owners and fans takes place between 18-20 July this year at the Misano World Circuit in Italy.
