Ducati India has brought the Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore to India, marking the arrival of one of the most exclusive motorcycles ever offered by the Italian brand. Produced in a limited run of just 1,000 numbered units globally, the Panigale V4 Tricolore is positioned as a collector’s motorcycle celebrating Ducati’s ‘Made in Italy’ heritage.
Bookings for the Panigale V4 Tricolore are now open, though Ducati has confirmed that only a very limited number of units will be allocated to India. The bike is priced at Rs 77,00,000 (ex-showroom, India), making it one of the most expensive motorcycles to ever go on sale in India.
Tribute to Ducati heritage and Italian design
The Panigale V4 Tricolore draws inspiration from the iconic 1984 Ducati 750 F1, marking 40 years since its unveiling. The Tricolore livery has historically been reserved for the most prestigious Ducati superbikes, starting with the 851 Desmoquattro in 1988, and continues that legacy with this special edition.
Designed by Aldo Drudi (Drudi Performance) in collaboration with Centro Stile Ducati, the bike features a new asymmetric Tricolore livery for the first time. The white, red and green colours of the Italian flag are combined with black-and-white chequered-flag elements, symbolising racing victories. The design also highlights the aerodynamic surfaces introduced with the latest-generation Panigale V4, underlining Ducati’s shift from sixth- to seventh-generation superbike design.

Track-focused upgrades, firsts for a Tricolore
Based on the new Panigale V4 platform, the Tricolore becomes the first Tricolore in Ducati history to feature performance-enhancing track components. One of the standout upgrades is the five-spoke carbon-fibre wheels, which reduce weight by around 0.9 kg compared to the forged wheels on the Panigale V4 S, while also lowering rotational inertia by 12 percent at the front and 19 percent at the rear.
Another global first is the Front Brake Pro braking system, making the Panigale V4 Tricolore the first production motorcycle in the world to feature 338.5 mm Brembo T-Drive finned discs with a thickness of 6.2 mm. These are paired with Brembo Hypure calipers and an MCS 19.21 master cylinder with remote lever adjustment, similar to systems used in MotoGP and World Superbike. The setup was previously tested by Ducati factory riders during the 2024 Race of Champions.
Premium hardware and exclusive equipment
Further enhancing its exclusivity, the Panigale V4 Tricolore comes equipped with a dry clutch, adjustable billet aluminium footpegs, GPS module, Alcantara seat, racing windscreen and a dedicated dashboard animation at key-on. Carbon-fibre components are used extensively, including the mudguards, chain guard, heel guards, swingarm cover, exhaust guard, alternator cover and more.
For track use, Ducati supplies additional equipment as standard, including a billet aluminium racing fuel cap, brake caliper air conveyors, open carbon-fibre clutch cover and a licence-plate removal kit. Each motorcycle features a machined aluminium steering plate engraved with the model name and individual unit number, along with a matching numbered ignition key. Owners also receive a certificate of authenticity, a dedicated motorcycle cover and a specially designed presentation box. Ducati is also offering a limited-edition jacket exclusively for Tricolore owners, styled to match the bike’s livery.
Engine and core specifications
Power comes from Ducati’s 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, producing 216 hp at 13,500 rpm and 90 ft-lb of torque at 11,250 rpm. The bike features Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) 3.0 with Öhlins Smart EC components and weighs 188 kg (wet, without fuel)—around 3 kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 S.
With its blend of heritage-inspired design, cutting-edge racing hardware and extreme exclusivity, the Panigale V4 Tricolore sits at the very top of Ducati’s superbike range. Ducati has confirmed that only a handful of units will be available for Indian buyers, making it one of the most exclusive motorcycles ever launched in the country.
