Ducati Special Edition 959 Panigale Corse debuts at EICMA 2017

New MotoGP inspired color scheme and updated components will be seen on the Ducati Special Edition 959 Panigale Corse, which is on display at the 2017 EICMA Show. It will be seen at dealerships from February 2018 carrying a price tag of £15,895 (roundabouts INR 13,44,923 without taxes and all other costs), which is around £1,900 more than the standard model.

Ducati Special Edition 959 Panigale Corse is powered by a Euro IV compliant Superquadro 955cc engine which offers 150 hp peak power at 10,500 rpm and 75.2 lb/ft torque at 9,000 rpm.

Power is delivered through Ride-by-Wire throttle with Servo assisted slipper function clutch. It gets an airbox from the standard model and double titanium Ducati Performance silencers by Akrapovic. The lithium ion battery enhances performance and lessens overall weight by 2.5 kgs to a total kerb weight of 197.5 kgs.

Ducati Special Edition 959 Panigale Corse gets top of the line components from Akrapovic, Brembo, Öhlins, and Pirelli. It is fitted the Special Edition 959 Panigale Corse with Ohlins treatment with 43mm Ohlins NIX30 forks and TTX46 monoshock at the rear. Suspension is fully adjustable. Front brakes are 320mm Brembo discs and four piston M4.32 calipers and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres are standard at 120/70-17 front and 180/60-17 rear sizes.
