The technology is based on OptiDrive technology developed by Wabco. It not only brings in better integrated solutions for Eicher range of commercial vehicles but also eases driver’s stress. OptiDrive technology reduces constant gear shifting allowing drivers to concentrate on the road ahead and observations of traffic regulations.

Among its many other benefits to driver, safety and efficiency, OptiDrive system also bridges the performance gap between skilled and novice drivers allowing them to display the same amount of control over the vehicle while tackling heavy traffic conditions on the roads.

OptiDrive technology also allows for better Hill Start Assist so that vehicle rollback over a gradient is eliminated and it increases uptime and profitability to customer. Operating efficiency is enhanced, wear and tear of transmission components is considerably reduced and instances of wrong gear sifting are totally done away with.
