Tesla Apple Graveyard

Known to make bold statements, Elon Musk has a new name for Apple – Tesla Graveyard.

Tesla’s Elon Musk, in an interview with Handelsblatt (a leading business newspaper in Germany), has revealed that Apple hires employees which did not make it at Tesla, or who have been fired from Tesla.

To quote him, Mush said, ” “They have hired people we’ve fired. We always jokingly call Apple the ‘Tesla Graveyard.’ If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding.”, reveals BusinessInsider.

This was his answer when he was asked by the reporter from German newspaper, what does he think about Apple hiring Tesla engineers.

Apple is building a car, which could probably rival the Tesla in the future. But, Elon Musk says that Apple is known for making phones, while making car is a very complex thing.

“Did you ever take a look at the Apple Watch? (laughs) No, seriously: It’s good that Apple is moving and investing in this direction. But cars are very complex compared to phones or smartwatches,” Musk said.
