The electric motor is powered by a battery pack that has a capacity of 11.7 kWh. This enables a 150 km range while cruising continuously at 80 kmph, and a 180 km range while riding consistently at 60 kmph.
The battery can be charged from nil to 80 percent in 30 minutes using the 20 KW DC Fast Charge equipment, while the standard charging time from 0-100 percent is 3.5 hours (via the standard 3.5 KW AC charger). The battery has a lifespan of 1200 cycles at 80 percent capacity.
The MSRP price of Energica Ego is EUR 30,998 for the standard variant that will be offered in Matte Black and Lunar White colours. The special, Italian Flag colour on the Ego will be available for EUR 32,854,60. There is no change in the technical specifications of these three models. Bosch switchable ABS is standard on all of them.
The Lunar White variant is compatible for optional accessories like Ego Tech Seat, Sport Map, 20 KW DC Fast Charge, while the Matte Black model gets one more option – the Sleek Carbon Kit.
The Energica Ego Italian Flag version is a host to a wider array of paid accessories including Ohlins Fork, TTX Ohlins Rear Shock Absorber, Ergal Handlebar Ends and Bolts, and OZ Aluminium Forged Wheels, in addition to the four items already discussed above.
