Speaking about the start of filming, Vin Diesel uploaded the above photo on his Facebook account, stating, “The first week of filming, has been both intense and surreal… P.s. One from set… a more somber moment in Our Saga…” There were more images which were shared by him from the set. He also shared a video, which was later removed by him, but not before it was uploaded on YouTube by a fan. You can watch the video below.
Not only Fast and Furious has become one of the highest grossing film series in history, but their social media fan following is also fantastic. Surprisingly, Vin diesel has more fans (47 million) on facebook as compared to Fast and Furious movie franchise, which has 39 million fans.
In another picture from the set of Fast and Furious 7, Diesel writes ‘Seven – had begun’ on his Facebook wall. This picture shows him and Paul Walker with Nathalie Emmanuel on the first day of shooting. Diesel, who plays the role of Dominic Toretto, is seen wearing a leather jacket. Paul Walker is also present wearing an oversized T shirt while Nathalie Emmanuel is in the background and one cannot decipher if she is unconscious, dead or drugged.
With the first Fast & Furious coming out in 2001, the seventh adventure of FnF is in the making and takes off from where the last one ended with most of the stars returning including Dwayne Johnson while new comer Jason Statham joins in. Fast & Furious 6 saw Vin Diesel and his crew take down Owen Shaw. The plot for the 7th edition is slated to revolve around Toretto and gang as they take on Owen’s brother Ian Shaw played by Jason Statham as he avenges his brother’s death.
Deepika Padukone was reported to be part of this movie, but earlier this week, her spokesperson stated, “Deepika was offered to be a part of the next Fast And Furious movie. She is a huge fan of the franchise and it’s disappointing not to be able to do it. Unfortunately, the movie goes on the floors immediately and that left too short a time for her to shift her existing date commitments to the producers of Ram Leela, Happy New Year and Finding Fanny Fernandes.” (as per DNA)
