FCA India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has plans to expand their reach across India. New network strategy with Destination Stores are being readied which will sell Fiat, Abarth and Jeep brands under one roof.
FCA Destination Stores are now opened in Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai. All these stores are equipped with 3S (sales, service, spares) facilities. These stores will encompass all three brands of Fiat, Abarth and Jeep of which the latter has been recently added to the company portfolio.
The FCA Destination Store in Mumbai is located at Worli and is spread over a display area of 8,500 sq ft showcasing Fiat, Abarth and Jeep models. The workshop which occupies an area of 12,035 sq ft is located at Andheri (E) on the Western Express Highway.
The Chennai store is at the Perungudi area on Old Mahabalipuram Road and is a 3S facility spread across 17,700 sq ft. to include display, service and parking areas. The Destination Store in New Delhi is located at Mathura Road while the workshop is at Moti Nagar occupying areas of 11,700 sq ft and 12,000 sq ft respectively.
FCA India started sales of the Jeep brand in India earlier this year with the launch of Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. Both these models are being brought into the country as direct imports. Wrangler is priced at INR 71.59 lakhs while the Jeep Grand Cherokee is priced from INR 93.64 lakhs.
These new stores from FCA India will allow the brand to penetrate deeper into the auto industry once they launch affordable made in India cars starting next year.
