2013 Fiat 500e is all set to enter markets in mid 2013. This upcoming electric vehicle will possess 122 MPGe in city limits, 108 MPGe on highway and 116 MPGe combined and will have an 87 mile range thus standing head and shoulders above some of the best and most efficient electric vehicles in the US market.
The electric vehicle goes on sale in California in the second quarter of 2013. Consumption rate is at 29 kilowatt hours per 100 miles due to the super efficient 111 hp electric engine while charging of the 24 kWh battery is possible in less than four house from a 240 watt Level 2 source.
Besides being highly efficient where power and performance is concerned, annual cost to power is also pegged at $500. This is calculated by factoring electricity price projections into 15,000 miles of travel on a combined rating.
Another feature of this soon to be launched electric vehicle is the fact that it has scored a perfect “10” on two EPA scales due to its low tailpipe emissions. For more information, scroll down.
