Fiat 500X crossover premieres at 2014 Paris Motor Show

Fiat 500X frontHighlights of all-new Fiat 500X include that it is unveiled in two variants, one for those with urban outlook and other for adventure seekers conscious about fashion. Fiat 500X glows in typical Italian styling, with cocktail of iconic original with contemporary and debonair design. Fiat has made the 500X look compact from outside, but interiors look capacious. The modish crossover is loaded with tech bits similar to those in elite as well as driver focussed cars. Wide range of petrol engines include 1.6-litre “E-torQ” motor, 1.4-litre Turbo MultiAir II plant and 2.4-litre Tigershark unit, while choice of diesel engines include 1.3-litre MultiJet II turbo, 1.6-litre MultiJet II turbo and 2.0-litre MultiJet II turbo-charged generators.

Fiat 500X rearTransmission options in petrol version of Fiat 500X include 5 speed manual, 6 spell manual, 6 speed twin clutch and 9 speed automatic, while diesel trim gets the same list minus 6 speed twin clutch setup. 3 drive configurations in 500X include front-wheel drive with and without “Traction Plus” and advanced all-wheel drive with rear axle disconnect for fuel efficiency.

Fiat 500X crossover will go on sale in the United Kingdom in second quarter of 2015.
