Fiat didn’t stop with the showcase of its new 124 Spider and Abarth 124 Spider at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The Italian automaker has also treated the show goers with a race ready Abarth 124 Rally hardtop sportscar and 124 Spider Personalized.
Fiat Abarth 124 Rally
Fiat has not officially confirmed any plans to go rallying with its delicious Abarth 124 Rally but we wish they do. Previewing a possible hardtop version of the badge engineered Mazda MX-5, the 124 Rally derives its power by a 1.8-litre Bialbero direction injection turbocharged petrol engine which is tuned to develop 300 PS at 6,500 rpm.
A sequential gearbox (no details on the number of cogs) drives the rear wheels via a limited slip differential. The car also benefits from Multilevel traction control.
Like any other rally car, the Abarth 124 Rally sports aggressive body kit, purpose-built wheels and tyres, spot lights and a stripped down interior with sports bucket seats.
Fiat Abarth 124 Spider Personalized
The Abarth 124 Spider Personalized, as the name suggests, demonstrates the open top two-seat sportscars ability to adopt a wide range of accessories and features. The customers can opt for different contrast color options for the hood, wheels, bumper air intakes, boot lid and so on. The interior too has a long list of themes and added goodies to choose from. Tuned by Fiat’s performance division, the sportscar features a 170 PS 1.4-litre MultiAir turbo petrol engine, 6-speed MT, Bilstein sports suspension system, Brembo brakes, DAB audio, performance exhaust and many more.
