Fiat Argo gets Sporty thanks to Mopar Opening Edition – Photos

This specially customized Fiat Argo with Mopar accents is based on the Fiat Argo HGT.

Seen with distinctive Mopar logo on its sides, blue accents on its lower bumper and matching rear spoiler in blue color on bottom portion, the Fiat Argo Mopar Opening Edition has been revealed. The customized version gets 17” alloy wheels and Fiat logo at the rear with Argo badges on its sides.

Limited to just 1,000 units and exclusively offered in Portofino Blue with a contrasting black roof, the Mopar Opening Edition sits on 16” darkened wheels and receives black mirrors and rear spoiler.

Interiors of the Fiat Argo Mopar Opening Edition distinctive blue accents seen on its dashboard, steering wheel and seat covers besides door panels and roof liner. It also gets door sill guards, floor mat and a 60 watt sound system with Mopar badging displayed on speakers.

Powering the Fiat Argo Mopar Opening Edition is a 1.8 liter E.torQ Evo flex fuel engine offering 135 hp peak power and 183.97 Nm peak torque, when it is powered by Petrol. The ethanol powered engine gives 139 hp power and 188.97 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. This engine allows acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.2 seconds.

Price of the Fiat Argo, now on sale across Brazil, starts at BRL 46,800 (INR 9,18,383). It is set to replace the Punto and is offered in a host of variants and engine options. It displays outstanding features such as a leather wrapped steering wheel, LED lights, ambient lighting, 7” instrument panel, 7” UCONNECT touchscreen and safety features that include automatic climate control, keyless entry, rear view camera and auto start/stop feature.

A perfect replacement to the ageing Punto, the car is not expected to come to India.
