Fiat Avventura Adventure hatchback teased in new Video

Fiat India has teased the highly anticipated Avventura crossover hatch drawing attention to its projector headlights and adventurous exterior looks. The launch of Fiat Punto Evo in early August will be followed by the launch of Avventura ahead of the festive season this year.

Fiat Avventura Rush LaneFiat India describes the new Avventura as a Contemporary Urban Vehicle and wishes to draw attention to its projector headlights, plastic side body molding, skid guards, roof rails, spare wheel and extensive ground clearance.

The Avventura hatchback will be positioned above the Grande Punto and will be powered by the same engine configurations seen on board Punto Evo. These will include a 1.4 liter petrol engine capable of 89 bhp peak power and 115 Nm torque and 1.3 liter diesel engine offering 91 bhp peak power and 209 Nm torque. Each of these engines will be mated to 5 speed manual transmission unlike the model on display at the 2014 Auto Expo which was mated to a 6 speed manual unit.

fiat avventura at 2014 delhi auto expoInteriors of the Fiat Avventura will be similar to that seen on the Fiat Punto with bright orange accents around dashboard and orange stitching complementing its dark gray and while fabric upholstery. The Avventura will also receive a three spoke steering wheel with all audio and call function buttons while sports seats will come with integrated arm rests.

To compete with Volkswagen Cross Polo and Toyoya Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura will be launched in a price bracket of INR 6-8 lakhs.
