Fiat seven seater car arrives next year, new Linea sedan and hatchback by 2015


Fiat Auto has officially revealed that they will be launching their seven seater car next year. As of now, the new Fiat seven seater is codenamed as 500XL, and it will be launched first in the Europe and then around the world. In India, Fiat 500XL will very much be appreciated, considering the recent success of Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Quanto. But it will not be before 2014 that the 500XL will be driven into the Indian auto industry.

Apart from this, Fiat Auto also revealed their complete production plans till 2015. Next year, Fiat has planned to launch a total of four cars. Starting with the 500XL, Fiat will also launch Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe, Maserati Quattroporte full model range and the recentley announced Ghibli, which will compete with the likes of Audi A6, Mercedes Benz E Class and BMW 5 Series.

In 2014, Fiat plans to launch the 500X crossover which will replace Sedici. after that is the baby Wrangler small Jeep SUV, this will compete with Audi Q3, and BMW X1. Other launches in 2014 from Fiat include, Alfa Romeo 4C Spyder, Alfa Romeo sedan, Maserati Levante SUV based on Jeep Grand Cherokee.

For 2015, Fiat Auto has planned the most launches. A total of 11 cars will be launched by the Fiat Group in 2015. Starting with the Fiat Freemont minivan, Fiat will give their Linea sedan a full model upgrade and will also launch the Linea hatchback. For Alfa Romeo, Fiat will launch Giulia – 159 replacement, a large SUV, and a roadster developed in association with Mazda MX-5.

Fiat will also replace the entire lineup of Maserati GranTurismo in 2015, including the convertible. New Lancia model will also show its face same year along with Jeep Grand Wagoneer 7 seater and new Jeep variants that will replace Compass and Patriot.
