Fiat Mobi (Renault Kwid rival) spotted in Brazil with light camouflage

The Fiat Mobi which is codenamed X1H has been spotted testing in Brazil with light camouflage. The small car which is set to replace the Uno will be pitted against the Renault Kwid in the Latin American country.

In addition to a regular hatchback body style, the Mobi is also reported to give birth to a soft crossover which could be branded as Mobi Way. The prototypes are fitted with additional cladding on the roof to hide the car’s actual stance which is somewhere between a conventional hatchback and crossover.

The Mobi would replace the Uno Vivace in Brazil.

The Fiat Mobi derives the front half of its platform from the Uno while the rear half is developed from scratch. Object of such an hybrid platform is to achieve better crash rating than the Uno without compromising on the cost factor.

The basic shape and dimensions appear to be not far away from the but front and rear fascias would be fresh. As seen in the previous spy shots, the interior too adopts a fresh design.
