Punto facelift called Punto Evo was noted with a new façade and redesigned headlights. A new front grille and bumper design were also evident with grille inspired by the Fiat Vaiggio sedan and headlights following those seen on board the Avventura concept seen at the Auto Expo earlier this year.
Punto Evo exteriors which comes in a new Orange body colour, also boasts of new alloy wheels and wing mirrors which come with integrated turn signals. Infotainment on board the new Punto Evo will come in the form of CD, AUX and USB inputs with Fiat’s Blue&Me system.
Interiors (spied earlier) of the Punto Evo will be seen with a dashboard borrowed from the 2014 Linea while interiors are done in all black. Engine specifications will include 1.2 and 1.4 liter petrol engines and 1.3 liter diesel engine to be offered in 75PS and 90 PS tunes. All engines get a standard manual transmission.
Launch of the new Punto Evo could take place sometime in the second week of August with pricing of in the INR 5 to 7.5 lakh bracket.
