Fiat India is hoping to increase their dealerships by 80 to 100 in the next one and half years. These dealers will be spread across 35 Indian cities while the company is also planning on increasing their market share two fold by the year 2015.

Exclusive dealers, adding of volumes, launching new products and increasing their reach in the market is what the company has planned in the coming years. India is an important market for Fiat India. However, the company sold only 18000 units in 2011-12 which is only 0.7% of the total auto market in the country. Fiat also plans to double their market share to 1.5%. During Q1-12 the company small car Punto saw increased demand as compared to what it saw in Q1-11.

Punto Sport is priced at Rs.7.36 lakhs(ex showroom pune). Fiat has also launched Fiat Caffe, a lifestyle showroom in Pune’s very own Koregaon Park which is the second such showroom launched by Fiat in the country. The 6,300 sq feet caffe will have frontage of 70 feet specially designed to give the real Fiat feel to customers. It operations will be managed by Millennium Drive – one of the leading auto dealers in the city.

The limited edition Punto Sport multijet diesel has a class of its own due to its innovative features and highlights. It is available in three colors of white, black and red and will be available exclusively for their diesel loving clients who want performance coupled with fuel economy. Pune Sport has 93 ps power and fuel efficiency of 20.5 km per liter all at a very competitive price.

Pune, May 18, 2012: FIAT India Automobiles today inaugurated its second exclusive FIAT Caffé in Pune’s up market locality, Koregaon Park. This was shortly after the launch of its first Caffé in the national capital and its first exclusive dealership in Hyderabad. FIAT Caffé has been aesthetically designed in line with FIAT brand’s value of technology and style. The 6,300 sq ft Caffé with a frontage of 70 feet is designed to give the real FIAT experience to customers. The operations of the Caffé will be managed by Millennium Drive- one of the leading automobiles dealers in Pune. FIAT Caffé was decked up with ‘Motor Sports’ theme to also announce the launch of the limited edition ‘Punto Sport’ MULTIJET diesel.

FIAT Caffé has a mezzanine floor with a lounge at the Café bar. Customers can go through the latest FIAT India cars on display, take a test drive, and browse through FIAT worldwide or FIAT India details, guided by specially trained personnel. The collection of international FIAT merchandise is available for sale, giant 3X3 video walls and TV screens running FIAT ads.
