Fiat Tipo sedan (Egea) debuts at 2015 Dubai Motor Show

Dubai International Motor Show being held from 10th to 14th November 2015 has the new Fiat Tipo (Egea) sedan on display.

Known as Fiat Tipo for the European market, whereas in Turkey, it will be called as Egea, the new sedan has made motor show debut at the ongoing Dubai Motor Show. Set for launch in Turkey later this month, Egea will also be exported to 40 other countries across the globe, where it will replace the existing Linea sedan.

Featuring an oval shaped front grille, swept back headlights, wraparound tail lamps and a sculpted roof, Fiat Tipo measures 4.54 meters in length, 1.78 meters in width and 1.48 meters in height. It sits on a wheelbase measuring 2.64 meters.

Fiat Tipo sedan is being offered with four engine options that include petrol and diesel engines. Petrol engines include 1.4 liter petrol offering 95PS peak power and a1.6 liter petrol capable of 110PS power. The diesel engined counterparts include a 1.3 liter MultijetII turbodiesel engine offering 95 PS power and 1.6 liter MultijetII turbodiesel offering 120 PS peak power. All these engines will be mated to either automatic or manual transmission options.

Interiors of the Fiat Tipo sedan is comfortable for upto 5 adults and comes in with state of the art ergonomics and enhanced leg room. Infotainment abounds on the new Fiat Tipo sedan with an optional Uconnect infotainment system, 5” display, Bluetooth, iPod, AUX connectivity and TomTom navigation system along with a rear view camera.

Pricing details of Fiat Tipo sedan have not yet been revealed.
