Patent sketches of the Fiat Tipo sedan (Egea in Turkey) featuring sporty bodykits have emerged. The car maker is expected to shortly introduce the visual enhancers as accessories, and we like what we see.
Without trying two much, the body kit increases the sporty quotient of what is already an energetic and youthful design. The added visual elements include a sharp chin with black plastic air splitter, side skirts, black finished wing mirror camps and roof, a black stripe running across the car’s waistline through the door handles, a black spoiler lip on the boot lid and a super aggressive rear diffuser with aerodynamic fins and dual chrome exhaust tips.
Interior has not been detailed in the patent filings but one can expect sportier upholstery with new color theme, machined pedals and a few additional goodies. We don’t expect any performance oriented enhancements but that said, Fiat could be working on a fully blown Abarth variant.

The Tipo sedan which is made at the automaker’s Tofas plant in Turkey replaces Linea in EMEA region (European Middle East and Africa) and will be followed up by a hatchback which will put the aging Bravo to rest. The sedan is powered by a set of two petrol and diesel engines with both manual and automatic transmissions in the mix.
