The Fiat Tipo specs have been released ahead of the Linea replacement’s commencement of sale. The car which was designed in Italy and developed by Fiat’s R&D facility in Tofas, Turkey, will be sold in Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
To be produced at Tofas, the sedan would be called as Egea in Turkey but Tipo elsewhere. Three variants will be on offered in total and standard equipment include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, electrically adjustable heated wing mirrors, AC, power steering, UConnect infotainment system with 3.5-inch LCD, USB, Aux-in and 15-inch alloy wheels.
The mid-variant sports 16-inch wheels and adds chrome finished door handles, body-colored wing mirror housings, 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth, MID on instrument panel, multifunction steering wheel, electrochromatic rear view mirror, rear power windows, and automatic headlamps and wipers. The fully loaded trim is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, more chrome accents, automatic climate control, cruise control and centre arm rest in addition to the goodies offered by the mid-variant.

We already know that the sedan is suspended by McPherson struts upfront and twist beam at the rear – a regular FWD affair. A set of two petrol and two diesel engines are on offer (specs are mentioned in the table).
