With only four races to go in the 2015 season, Lewis Hamilton has distanced himself in the front by 73 points, after Rosberg was forced to retire in today’s race. Rosberg started the race from P1, but retired in the 9th lap after his car started to have problems. This leaves Rosberg with a mathematical chance to win year’s championship.
Force India driver, Perez was in the third place till the penultimate lap of the race. But lost his place to Ferrari’s Kimi and Williams’ Bottas on turn 13. Luckily for him, Bottas and Kimi were fighting for the third spot. One aggressive move from Kimi at turn 4 of last lap, saw Bottas and him spinning out of the track.
Kimi managed to recover, but Bottas had to retire from the race due to this incident. But in all this, Perez managed to secure the third place. This is Perez’ fifth podium finish.
