Ford Aspire Blu Limited edition is now available for a price of Rs 740,900 (Petrol 1.2L), and Rs 820,900 (Diesel, 1.5L). The company has previously introduced the Ford Figo BLU variant, available as an edition of the top trim Titanium variant. Ford Aspire Blu edition too is available in manual transmission of the vehicle’s Titanium variant, and is on offer in three complementary shades – White, Moondust Silver and Smoke.
With power from a three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT naturally aspirated petrol engine, it returns 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque. Fuel efficiency is pegged at 20.4 KM/L. The 1.5L TDCi engine returns 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque. Peak power is pegged at 25.5 KM/L.
Exteriors sport a black grille mesh encased in a black front grille surround, sporty decals, and a dual tone roof. Fog lamps are integrated into the front bumper and come with a Blue touch. Aspire Blu features black finish alloys, and 15-inches.Ford Aspire Blu is fitted with blue themed interiors, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
On the safety front, Ford Aspire Blu features two front airbags as standard, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) for improved grip and smooth driving.
Convenience features include embedded satellite navigation, an infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen & Bluetooth connectivity, rear-view camera, remote central locking, automatic air-conditioner and power windows, push-button start/stop, rear parking sensors, and USB slots, among others. Built at Ford India’s Sanand Factory in Gujarat, Ford Aspire Blu is offered with 5-Year/ 100,000 KM, which includes 2-year factory warranty and 3-year extended warranty.

Ford India is also working on an fully electric version of Aspire, which is currently being developed in association with Mahindra. The car was recently spotted on test near Mahindra Electric plant in Bangalore. With diesel cars to get expensive post BS6 implementation in April 2020, more and more car manufacturers have started focusing on electric / hybrid technology.
