The Shanghai Auto Show 2013 is on from April 21-29 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Here Ford Motor Company has unveiled an exciting new lineup of vehicles including their much anticipated Escort Concept, besides its new Mondeo, EcoSport, Fiesta and Kuga.
Mondeo comes into Asian markets with a new 1.5 liter EcoBoost engine which offers a high level of both power and fuel efficiency. Mondeo is being introduced with a highly acclaimed design and state of the art infotainment features. This 1.5 liter EcoBoost engine is capable of 133 Kw power at 6500 rpm and 240 Nm torque at 1750 rpm. The engine is highly efficient and displays features of noise reduction, less vibration and decreased harshness. Mondeo is also being offered with a 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine.
Ford Fiesta and the Fiesta ST are both smaller cars but with updated interiors and exterior designs. The vehicles sport SYNC in-car connectivity system supporting both English and Mandarin. Where engine details are concerned, the vehicle comes in with 1.5 liter four cylinder petrol and a PowerShift automatic six speed engine. Kuga and Escort also bear witness to Ford style, performance and advanced safety and infotainment features. EcoSport in the SUV segment will be produced at the Changan Ford Assembly plant and will also sport the 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine.
