Ford Figo sedan gets Freestyle update – Meet Urban Warrior concept
Ford Figo sedan is known as Ka in global market.
Ford has revealed the Figo Aspire based Ka Urban Warrior sedan concept. The sedan, in its production ready format is essentially a stretched version of the Figo Aspire sold in India. This family sedan concept sports some design changes that are akin to those seen on the Figo Freestyle hatchback.
Ford Figo Urban Warrior Concept sedan gets headlamps with black accents, black frames on wheel boxes and a grey front grille. It rides on 15” wheels finished in a pearlescent grey.
Other design elements are seen in a red color scheme with black accents while ride height is increased so show off its crossover-sedan stance. The Figo Urban Warrior also receives faux skid plates at the front and rear.
This black and red color scheme continues to its interiors along with a list of features such as a 6.5” capacitive touchscreen infotainment system with SYNC3 connectivity. Leather upholstery gets orange stitching accents while instrument cluster is seen with blue dials. In terms of safety, the Ford Figo Urban Warrior sedan gets a total of 6 airbags, reverse parking sensors with camera, traction control and hill start assist among others.
Ford Figo Urban Warrior is powered by a 1.5 TiVCT Flex engine offering 128 hp power at 6,500 rpm and 15.6 Nm torque at 4,500 rpm. With ethanol, these figures increase to 136 hp and 16.1 Nm with engine mated to 6 speed automatic transmission.
No price details have been revealed as on date. However, it has been confirmed that the sedan will go on sale next year in Brazil. Considering that the Freestyle is launched in India, it is possible that the Aspire Freestyle could also be launched here.
