Ford Happy Schools Programme will now take into its fold another ten schools in the vicinity of its upcoming plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Ford’s community outreach initiative in Sanand is committed to provide safe drinking water to 30 government sponsored kindergartens in 18 villages. Ford Happy Schools programme has been introduced in twenty schools in Chennai.

Through its Happy Schools Programme, Ford partners with NGOs to work upon social intervention models to address gaps specific to a school. Ford partnered with Jaipur Literature Festival for a second time in 2015. As exclusive sponsor, Ford Samvad offers a platform to the young. This year Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Girish Karnad, Prasoon Joshi, Ibukun Olatunji, Devdutt Pattanaik, Pallava Bagla and Cat Weatherill and others participated.
