Vinay Piparsania, executive director of Marketing, Sales and Service at Ford India commended government decision to extend excise duty concession until 2014 end as it will boost consumer purchasing sentiment moving into the festive season in the next few months.
The decision helps fuel auto sales and reflects government’s recognition of an all important manufacturing sector, which is critical to overall economic growth in India.
