One of the fastest growing car manufacturers in the country, Ford has revealed sales report for the month of March 2016. As per the report, Ford March 2016 sales in the domestic market stands at 7,560 units while exports stood at 13,638 units.

Ford India produces cars from their two world-class plants, one each in Chennai and Ahmedabad. From the plant in Chennai, Ford produces EcoSport and Endeavour, while from the plant in Ahmedabad, they produce Figo and Aspire. This makes Ford’s lineup among the newest on offer as all four have either been launched or updated in the past one year.
Of the four cars, EcoSport is the best-selling Ford in India. Recently, sales of EcoSport declined due to the arrival of a new rival in the form of Maruti Vitara Brezza. In order to bring their sub 4 meter back in the title race, Ford India took the bold step of reducing its price by up to INR 1.13 lakh. Only time will tell if this trick of theirs worked in their favour or not.
Speaking about their upcoming launches, Ford India will launch their global icon, the Mustang later this year in India. To be offered only in the GT option with 5.0L supercharged V8, it was showcased earlier this year.
