Ford Mustang is back once again, with their Valintine’s Day promo video. Unlike last year’s 3D printed candy, this year they have something more interesting. You can only imagine what happens next.
Just under three and a half minutes, the video (called Ford Mustang Speed Dating) shows how unsuspecting men on a blind date think their date is just another blond. Soon after a little chat over coffee, she invites them for a ride in her new Mustang. Her actions (like not changing gear, unable to open door) at the start reveal that she is not a pro at driving a car, infact a little below amateur.
But that is not the reality. She is in fact a professional stunt driver. Once her date has firmly believed that she doesn’t really know how to drive, or he is better than her, the fun begins. She swerves into a parking lot, slams foot on pedal, shifts gears and is off at break neck speed to spin doughnuts and literally get her date to cling to the seat.
The Ford Mustang Speed Dating video is a Valentine’s Day prank. BTW – Ford Mustang in question is completely wired. The hidden camera on its dash captures priceless expressions of the unsuspecting men when their gorgeous blond date leaves them white knuckled.
2015 Ford Mustang starts at a base price of $24,425 (INR 15,18,624). It receives three engine options that include a 3.7 liter V6 engine offering 300 hp and 270 lb/ft torque, a 2.3 liter EcoBoost four cylinder engine producing 305 hp and 300lb/ft torque and a naturally aspirated 5.0 liter V8 engine offering 420 hp and 390 lb/ft torque. Each of these engines are mated to an upgraded six speed manual or six speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
