The all new Ford EcoSport will rub shoulders with Ford Fiesta sub compact and award winning Ford Atlas Concept truck at Hall No 1 at Dubai World Trade Center.
Ford Fusion will come in with a host of driver assistance and convenience technologies where it will be seen with sensors, camera and radar all assisting drivers to adhere to rules and regulations while keeping to lanes, adjusting speed to varying traffic conditions and in aiding drivers to find suitable parking spaces even where visibility is low grade.
Ford Fusion safety technologies also include collision warning assist, brake support, crash detection, active park assist and blind spot information system. Fusion also comes in with the latest version of MyFord Touch allowing drivers to work in partnership with drivers in other vehicles through voice control and touch screen while SYNC feature will help to reduce driver distraction.
EcoSport will be offered at attractive prices and in three trim levels – Ambient, Trend and Titanium, each of which will receive a fuel efficient 1.5 liter engine mated to either a manual or automatic transmission as per buyer’s preferences.
Speaking about their future plans, Ford revealed that for Middle East and South Africa they will launch a total of 17 new models in the next two years. Stephen Odell, Ford’s Euro president said “The Middle East and Africa is poised to become one of the next big automotive growth markets and we want to be there for these customers with great new cars and trucks,” making it clear that “Ford and Lincoln sales have grown 60 percent in the Middle East over the past four years, and we expect total industry sales in the combined Middle East and Africa region to increase nearly 40 percent to around 5.5 million units by 2020.”
