Goodyear launches new car tyre that increases driver confidence

Goodyear India has launched Assurance TripleMax 2 for the mid-passenger segment. Assurance TripleMax was introduced in India in 2015. The newest avatar is designed to improve safety and durability of the tyres.

Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 is optimized for grip performance with short braking distance under wet road conditions so drivers are able to stop faster for safer driving. Superior ride and comfort are improved.

Mr Jenner Powell, Product Director and Mr P K Walia, VP Consumer Business at the launch in Delhi.

P K Walia, Vice-President (Consumer Business), commented at the launch, “As pioneers in the tire technology, we constantly challenge ourselvesto innovate and develop better products to improve the overall driving experiences for the consumers, and this year we are celebrating our 120th anniversary, which marks a significant milestone for Goodyear. From the first tires on moon to the first tubeless tires in India, Goodyear has always been at the forefront of technological innovation and we aspire to design and to produce more high-performance tires with ground-breaking technologies. We are confident that new Assurance TripleMax 2 will allow drivers to experience better wet braking and handling performance.”

Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 built with HydroTred Technology caters to better performance across parameters to increase safety, and driver confidence.

The tyres are for cars in the mid-passenger segment. These include the likes of Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Maruti Ertiga, Hyundai Creta, and so on.

Wet Braking Performance is enhanced through the use of compound formulation to increase stickiness. Improved microstructure delivers better grip and braking performance. HydroTred tech with optimized footprint and improved contact pressure improves driving experience through better tyre cornering power and steering precision for opyimised handling.

Innovative tread pattern minimizes pattern noise for a more smooth and more comfortable drive. Increased resistance to sidewall impacts is achieved through added technical features on the sidewall, construction design, and materials.
