Gran Turismo 6 is now available at a price of Rs. 3,499 for the Standard Edition and Rs. 4,299 for the Anniversary Edition. A Gran Turismo 6 branded Mercedes-Benz A-Class was seen at the GT6 release event with Atindriya Bose, Country Head, PlayStation India in attendance at Auto Hangar Mumbai.

With over 120 new cars added to the line-up in GT6, which includes race cars, players can unlock a special event that features a unique Lunar Rover vehicle. Nürburgring, Kart course, Goodwood Hillclimb, Willow Springs International Raceway, Brands Hatch, Gran Turismo Arena, Matterhorn and a revised Apricot Hill Raceway are included.
Gran Turismo 6 players can participate in online races and communicate with players from other network rooms. A community feature compatible with mobile devices will be made available.
GT6 enhancements have been made possible through tyre manufacturer Yokohama and race suspension experts KW to effect improved aerodynamics, adaptive tessellation and an enhanced HDR rendering engine. A redesigned user interface is in play.
Regular updates will add new features, functions, cars, tracks and other content. Polyphony Digital has agreements with 28 global automotive and other brands to create new car projects under the innovative Vision Gran Turismo initiative. Mercedes-Benz having already revealed a full-scale model of its AMG Vision Gran Turismo car at the 2013 LA Auto Show. New teaser sketches have been revealed by Yamauchi-san. List of participating companies includes: Alfa Romeo, Alpine, Aston Martin, Audi, Bertone, BMW, Daihatsu, Ford, GM, Hyundai, Honda, Infiniti, Italdesign, Jordan, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nike, Nissan, Peugeot, Subaru, SRT(Chrysler), Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, Zagato.
Their collaboration with Red Bull features 3 new cars: Red Bull X2014 Fan car (X2014/F), Red Bull X2014 Standard car (X2014/S) and Red Bull X2014 Junior car (X2014/J) designed wityh help from Adrian Newey, Chief Technical Officer of four-time F1 champions Red Bull Racing.
Prices for Gran Turismo 6, the in-game pack have been revealed. This popular racing franchise allows gamers to trade real world cash for in game cars. Gamers will be able to purchase credits in denominations of 500,000, 1 million, 2,500,000 and 7 million.
Gran Turismo 6 New Version of Fictitious Red Bull Hyper Track Racer will come in varying prices starting from cheapest pack which is priced at £3.99/€4.99, while a million will come in at £7.99/€9.99 and gamers will need to exchange £15.99/€19.99 for 2,500,000 worth of credits.
GT6 as it is more popularly called, is the first entry of the racing franchise which allows gamers to trade real world cash for in-game cars. Though GT6 will include micro transactions with in-game credits, players can take their own decisions and transactions are not necessary for players to advance further in the game. Players will also not be penalized for not making transactions and will yet have access to everything on offer. Monetary transactions are purely optional and players will not be lured into buy-ins.
Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo was part of the free-of-charge Day 1 update. GT6 launch event in Ronda, Spain was certainly a grand event.
