Harley Rock Riders III – ‘The Last Show on Earth’ was held at Bangalore on November 24, 2012 at Clarks Exotica. Artists included Wolf, Soulmate, Galeej Gurus, Kryptos, Boomarang, Albatross, The Light Years Explode, Solder, Frank’s Got The Funk and The News.
Performances commenced at 12 noon with decibel levels reaching a crescendo as the day progressed carrying on well into the night. Harley Rock Riders is not only a music festival but a culture and passion that encompass each owner and member of this club. There was something that catered to every existing and impending customer right from music to Tattoo Booths that indulged in body art while Cannon photo shoot booths provided people an opportunity to imprint the electric atmosphere in a 4×4 frame.
Harley Davidson Fat Bob of the Dyna family was unveiled at the events which saw both music and motor biking fans congregate together. Fat Bob is being introduced in India as a CKD model and enhanced demand will be seen in the southern part of the country which has always been the case where Harley bikes are concerned.
Harleys Fat Bob is launched at a price of Rs.12.8 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Its basic body design is like any other Harley while details are seen in forward mounted foot controls, double headlamps, a drag style handlebar, heavier front tyre and sleek two up seating. Engine includes a 1690cc air cooled, Twin Cam 103 V twin engine mated to a six speed transmission. Harley will be expanding their current 9 dealer network lineup to include a 10th new showroom opening by the end of this year in Goa, while three more showrooms are slated for Jaipur, Indore and Pune by 2013.
