Hero Dash 111 cc automatic scooter unveiled

Today is an important day in the history of Hero MotoCorp. That is how Mr Pawan Munjal, MD and CEO, Hero MotoCorp, world’s largest two wheeler maker, started the press conference in New Delhi. What followed was a detailed description of Hero’s future plans, and motorcycle / scooter launches for India, which include a powerful 250 cc sports bike, a diesel bike, an electric scooter and much more.

The first to be unveiled today, was their Hero Dash automatic scooter. Powered by a 110 cc single cylinder petrol engine, Hero Dash delivers 8.5 hp and 9.4 Nm torque. It has a 6 liter fuel tank (reserve 1.8l) and weighs 110 kgs.

Hero Dash 111 cc automatic scooter unveiledTo be launched at the Delhi Auto Expo, Hero Dash has integrated braking system, bold styling giving the bike a commanding stance on the road, large under seat storage, improved driving experience due to larger 12″ wheels, service due and side-stand indicator, integrated braking, tubeless tyres (90/90 12 front, 90/90 10 rear), dual tone mirrors, digital analog meter, and mobile charging socket.

Once launched, Hero Dash will compete with the likes of Honda Activa, new Suzuki Let’s, TVS Wego, and Jupiter. It’s dimension stands at 1850mm x 822mm x 1270mm (L x W x H). It has a wheelbase of 155 mm, 12 V battery, and drum brakes front and rear. More info will be revealed at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.
