Hero Electric brings to double benefits to customers this festive season with exciting gifts on Hero Electric e-bike purchases during Navaratri & Diwali. This includes an assured treasure bag worth Rs 3000. Hero Electric this month celebrates its first year association with Snapdeal. Both partners report an average quarterly 150% growth rate in online sales e-bikes. With a manufacturing facility at Ludhiana, and a corporate office at New Delhi,its the first e-two wheeler automotive company to opt for online retail sales.

Hero Electric has organised training camps for local mechanics so they can adapt to new age e-bike servicing requirements. With an aim to prepare 5000 such mechanics across India through the current FY, they are also organizing mega service camps, and working to reshape opinions people have about electric two wheelers.

Sohinder Gill, CEO- Hero Electric says as a market leader, the company aims to create a dynamic market place for e-bikes, and address e-bike user needs, identify tech shortcomings and reasons that stop a majority of people from turning to environment friendly bikes.

Hero electric bikes also offers ‘Doorstep Service’ facility to retail customers, and customized service offerings for Institutional Customers. Expecting growth in EV industry, Hero highlights tech differentiators that give their bikes an edge in the e-two wheeler segment. Features include High MagFlux and High Ingress Inertia motors, special weather proof coating, fire proof wiring harness, sealed maintenance – free batteries specially manufactured for harsh Indian temperatures, lowest impurities in lead metal for higher performance and lowest toxic emissions during battery recycling.

Multistage intelligent charger ha high efficiency and safety protection to improve battery life and performance. Components are indigenized to suit Indian weather, and road condition. Hero Electric plans to introduce regenerative brake to increase range by re-directing energy developed when braking to charge the batteries.
