Brochure of the Hero Maestro Edge 110 cc automatic scooter has been leaked ahead of its unveiling next week (Sept 29). The scooter was first previewed at the Delhi Auto Expo last year under the Dash nameplate.
The final production version measures 1,840 mm in length, 695 mm in width, 1,190 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm. Kerb weight of the top-end variant stands at 110 kg.
The 110.9 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine is shared with the Duet which is also launching on the same day. Mated to CVT, the homegrown motor is tuned to deliver 8.43 PS at 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Just like its sibling, the Maestro Egde will be offered in two variants namely LX and VX. The noteworthy features include telescopic front suspension, tubeless tyres, 12-inch front alloy wheel, external fuel filler, Integrated Braking, semi-digital instrument console with service reminder, mobile charging port, underseat storage compartment lamp, immobilizer and LED taillight. The scooter is also equipped with a front inner storage box, women footrest and side stand indicator.
Hero’s new flagship automatic scooter will be available in 7 color options – Pearl Silver White, Panther Black, Shooting Night Star, Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue, Matt Vernier Grey, and Matt Blue.
