The Hero Just4her initiative has seen the company strengthen their hold in rural setups and smaller towns where showrooms are manned by women. From selling scooters, to buying them, women-exclusive showrooms have a job cut out for them. It comes as no surprise that the focus here is to augment Hero MotoCorp’s Pleasure scooter volumes, which is targeted at women buyers.
Hero Just4her dealerships offer a boutique studio environ as against a two-wheeler dealership, and finds women holding staff and managerial positions. At present the number stands at 30 such dealerships, and this will be expanded to about 50 in a year’s time. Sales volumes have surpassed the initial target of 5,000 units for the Pleasure with about 30,000 units being sold each month.
Hero’s Pleasure scooter is also sold across all dealerships pan India. The 1st phase of Just4her dealerships were restricted to 10 outlets, whereas the 2nd phase saw an additional 10 dealerships open. Dealers have already been appointed for the next lot od Just4her showrooms.
