Unveiled at the American International Motorcycle Expo, 1190 RX is a direct descended of their racing bike 1190 RS. It features a 1190 cc engine that delivers 185 hp @10,600 rpm and 137.8 Nm at 8200 rpm. The superbike is retailed at $18,995 in the US and sales are expected to start later this year, at about 50 of their dealerships.
The new 1190 RX does a 0-97 kmph in just 2.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 299 kmph. It features 17″ Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 120/70 ZR tires at the front and 190/55 ZR at the rear. It will be offered in a choince of three body colors, Galactic Black, Racing Red, and Strike Yellow.
