Hero Splendor iSmart is designed to draw attention amongst the usual commuter range. This is easily noticeable from its unique dual-tone graphics. Colour options include Blue, Red and Grey against an all-black theme. The wheels get an outline in the respective shade.

All three Splendor motorcycles have a distinctive design, but they have several components in common. For instance, the three motorcycles are engineered to provide a smoother ride using the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. Performance has been improved with a Throttle Position Sensor that promises better torque characteristics. The engines are equipped with an Oil Temperature Sensor to improve life cycle. Though these components are not at all new in the automotive industry, it is only recently that budget two-wheelers started receiving them.

Hero Splendor iSmart utilizes a diamond frame chassis which ensures optimized weight distribution. It improves ride and handling or makes it easier for the rider to navigate in tight traffic conditions. At a wheelbase of 1281mm, it offers decent stability. The motorcycle comes equipped with large 18-inch alloy wheels. The front suspension travel hits 120mm while the ground clearance is set at 180mm.

The suspension system comprises of standard front forks and twin shocks at the rear. Braking duties are performed by a 240mm disc brake at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear. Hero Splendor iSmart has a kerb weight of 116kg and comes with a 9.5-litre fuel tank.
