It may be remembered that GM Customs, a Delhi based custom builder, had earlier customized the Yamaha YZF-R15 turning it into a Suzuki Hayabusa. This time round the customization company has taken another 150cc bike giving it a complete makeover.
The Hayabusa you seen in the image above, is not a Hayabusa, but a Hero Xtreme. Yes. Believe it. The Hero MotoCorp Xtreme becomes a Hayabusa at a fraction of the cost that one would pay for the original bike and yet it has all the trimmings of its more expensive counterpart that only a trained eye could tell them apart.
The Xtreme has been given a new custom body kit, wide tyres and front dual disc brake. The instrument console too gets a unit that is seen on the Hayabusa so that it exactly resembles the more exclusive model though the custom company has not touched the engine.
Hero Xtreme turned Suzuki Hayabusa continues being powered by 149.2cc, 4 stroke, SOHC, 4 valve engine offering 14.2 bhp power and mileage of 40 kmpl.
Yes, these figures are no where comparable to the real thing, which is still considered as the god on two wheels, the Suzuki Hayabusa. But, if you are low on cash, and Hayaubusa is your dream bike, getting this is a very good option. Not only it will keep you motivated, but will also remind you of your dream, every day.
