HMSI retail sales cross 56,000 units in one day

On the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi and Vishwakarma Jayanti, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India retail sales crossed 56,000 mark.

Second largest two wheeler manufacturer in the country, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has started the festive season with a bang, registering retail sales of more than 56,000 units in a single day. This when compared to the retail sales recorded on the same occasion last year, has grown by 40%.

HMSI stated that the rush was such that their dealer partners and sales staff were working late into the night in order to clear the huge number of orders they had received for the day. Of the over 56,000 retail sales registered by HMSI, they managed to record sales of 50,000 units. This marks a new record in the history of HMSI, selling 50,000 two-wheelers to customers in a single day. (sales = 50,000 units, retails sales = 56,000)

HMSI says that the two wheeler market today, is bullish. The company is now aiming to set new sales record in the current year. In order to gel with the festive sentiment, Honda two wheelers has announced a new special scheme for their CB Shine 125cc motorcycle.

Honda CB Shine 30 lakh roll out

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India celebrating the roll-out of 3 millionth CB Shine back in April last year.

Under this new scheme, the new Honda CB Shine 125, which is Honda’s best selling motorcycle in the world, will be available at savings of upto Rs 7,300. You can now avail CB Shine at a down payment of just INR 5,999 and EMIs starting from just 999. These savings will be on offer for the entire period of the entire festive season.

Commenting on their new sales record, Mr. Yadvinder S. Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., said that even they are surprised with the sales registered by the company in one day.
