Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) delivered a strong performance in November 2025, recording domestic sales of 5,34,541 units, marking a 23.7% year-on-year (YoY) growth over 4,32,020 units sold in November 2024. The growth was driven largely by Honda’s high-volume commuter motorcycles and scooters, even as month-on-month (MoM) sales saw a post-festive correction.
Honda 2W Sales Breakup Nov 2025
At the heart of Honda’s performance was Activa, which continued its dominance as India’s best-selling scooter. Sales of Activa stood at 2,62,689 units, registering a 27% YoY growth compared to November 2024. However, on a MoM basis, Activa volumes declined by nearly 20%, reflecting seasonal moderation after the festive peak in October. Despite this, Activa alone contributed close to half of Honda’s total domestic volumes for the month.

Motorcycle sales also remained robust, led by the Shine 125 and SP125 range, which together clocked 1,54,380 units, up 23.5% YoY. The Shine 100 delivered particularly strong momentum, growing 56.5% YoY to 32,110 units, highlighting continued demand in the entry-level commuter segment. Unicorn sales remained stable at 32,968 units, while premium commuters like Hornet 2.0 and SP160 posted healthy YoY growth of over 120% and 33%, respectively.
In the scooter portfolio beyond Activa, Dio witnessed a YoY decline of 7.7%, with sales at 25,641 units, while newer and refreshed offerings showed traction. Notably, Hornet 125, which had no comparable sales last year, recorded 8,925 units, indicating growing acceptance of Honda’s sporty commuter lineup.

Honda’s premium motorcycle range also showed encouraging signs. The CB350 and H’ness 350 together crossed 3,700 units, posting strong YoY growth of over 50% and 41%, respectively. Meanwhile, niche models like CB300 and Gold Wing GL1800 added incremental volumes, underscoring Honda’s presence across segments, even if in limited numbers.
On a month-on-month basis, Honda’s domestic sales declined by 10.75%, falling from 5,98,946 units in October 2025. The decline was largely due to lower scooter demand post-festivals, with products like Activa, Dio and CB350 seeing notable MoM drops. However, motorcycles such as Shine, Shine 100, Livo, and SP160 registered positive MoM growth, helping cushion the overall decline.
Overall, Honda’s November 2025 performance reflects a healthy YoY recovery, backed by strong demand in the commuter motorcycle and scooter segments. While festive-led momentum eased sequentially, the brand’s wide and balanced portfolio continues to deliver scale and stability in the Indian two-wheeler market.
