Honda Activa sales cross 1 million units in just 5 months of FY16

Honda Activa sales

Honda Activa, the country’s most popular scooter has seen sales over the 1 million mark in the period April to August 2015.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has revealed that sales of their flagship scooter Honda Activa reached a level yet unseen by any other scooter in its category. The company has announced that Honda Activa sales stood at 1,001,350 units from April to August 2015, registering growth of 20 percent over the same period in the previous year.

This outstanding sales record is even more noteworthy considering that the two wheeler industry in the country is registering de-growth. HMSI now looks forward to the festive season, which commenced with Onam in Kerala, to see even better results. Since the demand is high, the company is not expected to offer significant discounts except for attractive finance schemes.
