Honda Amaze Ace Edition VX launch celebrates 1 lakh sales record

Honda Amaze Ace Edition based on VX trims feature multiple tweaks that celebrate a lakh units of the sedan sold.

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has found great acceptance for its 2nd-gen Amaze, which has found a lakh takers. Honda Amaze crossed the 100,000 sales mark today, in 13 months since launch, which took place in mid May 2018.

This is fastest 100,000 sales landmark for a HCIL in their history. In celebration, HCIL has introduced a special edition of Honda Amaze, called Ace Edition. It is based on VX top trim, and is on offer with both diesel and petrol variant.

Honda Amaze Ace Edition is available in 3 colours – Radiant Red, Lunar Silver and White Orchid Pearl. It features black alloy wheels. Other tweaks include a black truck spoiler, seat covers with Ace Edition Branding, front room lamp, front room lamp, black door visor, door edge garnish, and Ace Edition emblem.

Honda Amaze Ace Edition Petrol MT is available at an ex-sh price of Rs 7,89,200 pan India, and petrol CVT at Rs 8,72,200, diesel MT at Rs 8,99,200, and diesel CVT at Rs 9,72,200.

All New Amaze has found 25 percent of their customers to be first time buyers. In terms of sales, 38 percent of sales came from Tier 1 cities, 32 percent from Tier 2 cities, and 30 percent from Tier 3 cities. CVT technology has found takers. 20 percent of Amaze customers opt for automatic variants in petrol and diesel.

Honda Amaze was first launched in April 2013, and has till date found more than 3.5 lakh customers across India. All New 2nd Generation Honda Amaze was launched in May 2018. For FY19-20, Amaze sedan sales attributed to 52 percent of of total HCIL sales.
