Honda Amaze and Brio are undeniably good products, but how do you remind prospective buyers of that?
Honda recently launched a new top end variant of both cars, loading them with touchscreen Audio Video Navigation (AVN) system with contemporary connectivity features. The Japanese carmaker also announced that new CNG variant of Amaze will be launched soon (by end of the month).
Honda dealerships are already offering complete sport makeover with all genuine Honda accessories for Amaze, at Rs. 65,000 including painting, labour and such. So, the special edition may be priced more affordable than getting the body kit installed later, to present a really compelling deal.
Now why this could be important for the company is that Tata Zest is already hurting Honda Amaze’s sales, and it would only get worse if Tata introduces body kit for its compact sedan as they promised during the launch, sooner. Tata Zest with expected sport kit was showcased at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Of course Tata Motors did not reveal plans to launch a new variant with athletic bodywork, their plans also involve selling them as accessories, but what if they do?
