New Honda Amaze, Toyota Yaris and Hyundai Creta sales in May 2018

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) confirms May sales were strengthened by the all new Honda Amaze, which clocked monthly sales of 9,789 unit. It’s the highest ever monthly sales numbers for a single Honda model.

Rajesh Goel, Senior Vice President and Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Cars India said, “We are delighted with the customer response to the All New Honda Amaze which has helped our overall sales grow by 41% in May 2018. The customers have appreciated the car for its one class above offering of unmatched bold design, sophisticated & spacious interiors, advanced engine technology and outstanding driving dynamics. During last month, we prioritized Honda Amaze production volumes to cater to the strong customer demand. We are confident that we will continue with our sales momentum in coming months.”

The new 2018 Creta has raked in 14,366 bookings and about 70,000 enquiries have been made for the car since launch. Hyundai is confident the 2018 Creta will break existing milestones and emerge the segment leader. First launched in 2015, Hyundai India launched the Creta SUV facelift with refreshed exteriors and interiors on May 21, 2018. In its first avatar, the car wowed 4 lakh happy customers globally.

Toyota assures that those who’ve booked Yaris can be certain to receive their deliveries promptly. With test drives ongoing, the company is confident of seeing more Toyota Yaris on Indian roads. Officially, the company initiated Toyota Yaris deliveries across all authorized dealerships on May 18th. Yaris has received overwhelming response giving the company reason to believe that customers have well accepted its value propositions. Production got underway in April 2018 in order to match supply and reduce waiting period
