First unveiled at the Indonesia Motor Show earlier this year, Honda BR-V Prototype is now revealed in a new Misty Green Pearl exterior colour for the first time in public at the Surabaya Automotive Exhibition 2015.
Set to be launched in Indonesia early next year, Honda BR-V will be launched in India next fiscal. In Indonesia, Honda BR-V will be offered in a choice of six exterior colours – Passion Red Pearl, Taffeta White, Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Misty Green Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic.
Already a success in Indonesia, Honda BR-V has amassed over 4,000 bookings in the country. Before its launch in February 2016, Honda expects to generate over 10,000 bookings.
In India, seven seater Honda BR-V will be offered in a choice of petrol and diesel engine options. Petrol engine option will be in the form of 1.5 liter iVTEC generating 118 PS and 145 Nm torque. Diesel engine will be in the form of 1.5 liter diesel four cylinder generating 100 PS and 200 Nm. Transmission will be taken care by either a 6 MT or a 5 MT, while there will also be a CVT option, which is expected to be on offer both petrol and diesel engine option.
India debut of the BR-V is expected to take place at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo in February next year. Once launched, it will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, and Maruti S-Cross.
