Honda BR-V price starts from IDR 226.5 million in Indonesia – Official

Unveiled as a prototype at the 2015 Indonesia International Motor Show earlier this year, the new Honda BR-V has been launched with price starting from IDR 226.5 million (or INR 10.93 lakh). A total of four variants are on offer, all powered by the same 1.5 liter iVTEC four cylinder motor generating 120 PS power and 145 Nm torque. The motor is mated to either a six speed MT or CVT.

Bookings for the new Honda BR-V opened at the Indonesian Motor Show, where it was unveiled in August this year. Until the end of November, the company has received over 4,000 orders, creating a new record of sorts.

Honda BR-V S MT – IDR 226,500,000 (or INR 10.93 lakh)
Honda BR-V E MT – IDR 236,500,000 (or INR 11.42 lakh)
Honda BR-V E CVT – IDR 246,500,000 (or INR 11.90 lakh)
Honda BR-V E Prestige CVT – IDR 261,500,000 (or INR 12.63 lakh)

Apart from this, you can also avail the Modulo accessories, which were showcased at the 2015 Thai Motor Expo, for an extra cost of IDR 2,250,000 (or INR 10,868 lakhs). (check out the Honda BR-V with Modulo accessories here.)

To be offered in a configuration of three row and seven seats, Honda BR-V features include SUVish rugged styling with muscular front, projector headlights, 16 inch alloys, roof rails, side plastic cladding, and high ground clearance. On the inside, there is dashboard in dual tone finish housing touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and rear parking camera display. Safety features include airbags, ABS, EBD, and Hill Start Assist.

Confirmed to be launched in India by Q2 2016, Honda BR-V will be offered with a diesel engine option as well. This will be in the form of 1.5 liter iDTEC generating 100 PS and 200 Nm. In India, it will rival the likes of Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-Cross. We expect Honda BR-V to be launched at a price range of INR 8-12.5 lakh in India.
