As the slump lingers in auto sector and with no signs of early revival, most carmakers are offering attractive discounts and benefits to clear existing inventory. Honda dealerships continue to utilize this strategy in May in a bid to boost sales. Here’s a quick look at the discounts and benefits being offered on various Honda cars.
Honda Brio: Honda had confirmed earlier this year that Brio will be discontinued. However, existing stock with the company and at dealerships are available for sale. Total discounts and benefits being offered for Brio is Rs 40,000.
Honda Amaze: This was Honda’s bestselling car in April and had helped the company achieve positive sales growth. Launched last year, second generation Honda Amaze has sold more than 85,000 units in just around 11 months. Honda dealerships are offering discounts and benefits worth Rs 37,000 on Amaze.
Honda Jazz: This is one of the bestselling hatchbacks in the word. Next generation Honda Jazz is currently undergoing field tests and is expected to be launched in India next year. Next-gen Honda Jazz will have improved styling and offer a range of new features and safety upgrades. Total discounts and benefits worth Rs 45,000 are available for Honda Jazz.
Honda City: This has remained one of the favourites since 1998, when the first-gen model was launched. It has been reported that next-gen City is almost ready and expected to be launched in March 2020. Honda dealerships are offering discounts and benefits worth Rs 57,000 on Honda City.
Honda WR-V: A cross-hatch based on Jazz, Honda WR-V takes on rivals such as Hyundai i20 Active. WR-V utilizes the same petrol and diesel engines as that of Jazz, but offers 6-speed manual transmission instead of the CVT automatic gearbox. Total discounts and benefits worth Rs 45,000 are available on Honda WR-V.
Honda BR-V: Facelifted Honda BR-V was unveiled last month at the 2019 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). Updated Honda BR-V comes with a range of cosmetic changes and new safety equipment. As sales are quite low as compared to rivals like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, discounts and benefits worth Rs 1.10 lakh are being offered on Honda BR-V.
Honda CR-V: This has been around for quite some time and has decent fan following. Discounts and benefits worth up to Rs 2 lakh are available on AWD variants whereas 2WD petrol and diesel variants are available with discounts and benefits worth up to Rs 1.25 lakh.
